Trace every image.
Record every step, input and decision behind a final image, so any shot can be explained, revisited or rebuilt.
Production drives development.
Artists set the direction. Technology supports the execution.
Wander.dev is where we build our own production system. It helps focused creative teams achieve more across the filmmaking process: connecting tools, coordinating tasks and keeping work moving between creative stages, under human creative direction.
Much of the effort in any production goes into the work around the work. The system takes more of that on, so the people making the film can spend their time exploring ideas, refining images and responding to creative feedback.
The first iterations are already in use on our productions. The next generation, built around agentic AI, is in active development and evolving quickly alongside our own work. It is an internal system, not a product we sell, and we are keeping the details close for now.
The next generation of our system is built from the ground up for data security and provenance tracking. It is designed to:
Record every step, input and decision behind a final image, so any shot can be explained, revisited or rebuilt.
Control access to sensitive material, from scripts to performer data, so people see only what their work requires.
Give clients a portal for reviews, notes and discussion, kept alongside the work they refer to.
Track closely how the process performs, for our own review and our clients’, so the method keeps improving on evidence.
Artists and filmmakers set the direction, make the judgments and shape the final result. The system supports the execution.
Fewer repetitive tasks, fragmented workflows and manual handovers between stages, so iteration can be faster and handovers smoother.
Models and platforms are commodities, and they change faster than any production schedule. The system is designed to put the best of them to work without tying a production to any one of them.
The opportunity is creative as much as it is efficient: giving focused teams the capacity to explore more possibilities and take on more ambitious work.
A script, a sequence, a difficult shot or an early idea. The earlier we talk, the more we can help.
